Metro Offices Parties Under the Stars for 25th Anniversary Celebration

April 1, 2014 was a memorable day for all Metro Offices team members, as the organization marked its 25^th anniversary. Festivities began with gatherings for Metro Offices clients hosted by each of the nine center locations. Guests were treated to champagne, cake and mingling with fellow center colleagues.

The celebration continued in the evening with a “Party Under the Stars” on the rooftop of One Metro Center. Metro Offices team members, clients and members of the business community enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and socializing while taking in sunset views of the Washington, DC, landscape.

Later in the evening, several longtime clients who have partnered with Metro Offices for the majority of its history were recognized. Keynote speaker Andrea Pirrotti, Chief Marketing Officer at WUN Systems, recounted the extraordinary vision and determination of company founder and CEO Kathlene Buchanan, a pioneer for woman-owned companies. Buchanan has led Metro Offices to inclusion on INC 500/5000 Fastest Growing Companies, SmartCEO’s 100 Best-Run Companies and Top 25 Women-Owned Businesses by the Washington Business Journal.

Buchanan herself thanked all those in attendance for their support, loyalty and friendship over the years. “It is truly an honor to stand here tonight, and all of you are the reason we are here,” said Buchanan.
