Metro Offices Employee Spotlight: Emma Nagy

EmmaEmma Nagy, Front Desk Coordinator at Metro Offices’ Farragut center, loves the variety that accompanies her job. “Not just in the range of different tasks I might have on any given day, but I love getting to work with people from so many different backgrounds and fields.” In addition to answering clients’ calls, Emma supports client needs in any way she can. This can entail anything from typing, organizing supplies and arranging Washington, DC, meeting space, to handling mail and packages.

Emma is originally from Baltimore and studied psychology at George Mason University. She has been employed by Metro Offices for nine months, and believes her greatest strength is her punctuality and work ethic. “I believe in working hard and putting in 100% effort into all aspects of my job,” says Emma. Her favorite thing about working for the company is her fellow hard-working, friendly employees.

Emma’s favorite attractions near the Farragut center are the monuments. “It’s so fun to go for a run and see all of these beautiful national landmarks and the cherry blossoms when they are in bloom.” Speaking of running, Emma is currently training for her first full marathon! She is also a published photographer, an avid reader, a coffee enthusiast and a huge Washington Capitals fan.

As the oldest of seven siblings, three brothers and three sisters, Emma is most proud of the awesome people they have grown into. She and her boyfriend, Mark, have been together almost four years. Her pets include two Siberian Huskies, Juneau and Strider.

Emma’s favorite places to dine out include Cava and Sweetwater Tavern. Her favorite shows are X-Files and Battlestar Galactica, but she also enjoys Madmen and True Blood. If she could go anywhere for a day, she would love to go to a wolf sanctuary and photograph wolves for a day.

In the future, Emma looks forward to eventually getting her PhD in Psychology. When asked about the one piece of advice she would give others about life, she says, “Whatever you are, be a good one.”

Thank you, Emma, for being an important part of the Metro Offices team!
