Private Offices & Suites


What amenities are included with the private office option?

Your fully furnished private office workspace includes 24/7 access, professional mail service, community café & business lounge access, specialty coffee, tea & water for you and your guests.  Member to member networking events, access to our on-site gym, access to our online reservation system where you can reserve our 40+ meeting spaces by location, shared fax and printer, fast & secure high-speed internet are also included. 


How many seats can your private offices accommodate?

Our private offices can accommodate between 1 and 20 people; we also have dedicated and private team spaces that seat up to 100.


Do I have the flexibility to add and/or remove members if my company size changes?

Yes – you are welcome to add an additional member as needed for a $200/monthly fee. If your private office has reached maximum capacity, we will be happy to work with you to add an additional office or dedicated desk in our shared space. Members can also be removed as needed. 


Not everyone in my business uses the office every day.  Can you help us cut real estate expenses?

Metro Offices will create a customized workspace for your company with multiple office space solutions to substantially reduce your real estate cost-per-person.


What term options do you offer?

We offer flexible monthly solutions, as well as 6-month, 12-month, and 24-month terms. 

Is there a security deposit?

Yes, the refundable security deposit is equal to the recurring standard monthly payment.



Are private offices fully furnished?

Metro Offices provides fully-furnished, turn-key offices so you can focus on your business! We offer high end, name brand furniture, including top names Hon and Herman Miller and Steelcase. 


What is the size of the desks provided?

We understand how important it is to have space to comfortably work in, and that’s why we offer various sizes and configurations to meet your individual needs. 


Can I bring my  own furniture?

Yes, we want our office to be your office. Bring the furnishings and office decor that will help you feel at home. We can also remove the provided furniture upon request.


What happens if I need more furniture?  Is there a cost associated with additional furniture pieces such as additional desks and/or chairs? 

Yes, our team can work with you to provide additional desks or chairs as needed, subject to availability. There will be a minimal monthly charge for the additional furniture provided.


Is custom painting or wallpaper allowed?

Yes, you may paint your office or install removable peel-and stick wallpaper.  Installation, associated costs as well as restoring the office to original condition upon move-out will be the tenant’s responsibility.


Are company decals or signage on doors allowed? Can I put a company decal or sign on our door in the suite?

This is available at some locations for some offices, upon request. Our team will be happy to discuss this with you.


What is the general noise level during peak times?

Our quiet and professional work environment sets us apart from many workspace providers – while we love pets and children, we kindly ask our members to keep them home to maintain an environment free of distractions.


Does my membership allow access to multiple locations?

Yes, Metro Offices members are welcome to book day offices, meeting and training spaces in Washington, DC, Virginia or Maryland.  Sign up for your choice of 3 business addresses in DC, MD & VA with Metro Offices “DMV” package – (choose from Metro Offices 8 locations)!


Are meeting room hours included with my private office membership?

While meeting room hours are not included, our plan ahead & save meeting room packages are 50% off our published rates, starting at just $20 an hour!


Are black & white and color prints included with my membership?

Black and white prints are unlimited with a private office membership. There is a small fee for color prints, scanning, and additional services. Our team will be happy to provide you with more information as needed.  


Are there additional fees on top of my recurring monthly payment?

We offer a variety of administrative and support services such as conference room bookings, printer usage, mail services, etc.  Please ask us for our detailed services menu.


Is coffee provided at each location?

Yes, enjoy water, tea, and delicious coffee, on us daily!


What are the security parameters for the offices and buildings?

While every office will not have secure entry during regular business hours, keycard access is required to access all suites outside of regular business hours. All private offices are lockable with individual door locks.  Some centers require keycard access 24/7 and at the perimeter of the building.  Additionally, our locations are monitored by on-site security, security systems, and surveillance cameras.


What types of businesses do Metro Offices tenants have? 

Metro Offices provides workspace solutions to over 1,000 companies ranging from Fortune 500 to one-person businesses, including clients such as law firms, wealth management firms, government contractors, start-ups and entrepreneurs, doctors, and many more.


I only need an office for one day, is this possible?

Yes, we offer daily office rentals which include a private office with telephone lines, high-speed internet connectivity, and access to all other on-site support services.

Does Metro Offices offer dedicated desks in shared workspaces?

Yes, Metro Offices offers dedicated desks exclusively for you and your team, in one of our open and spacious shared workspaces.


What is the difference between a dedicated desk in a shared workspace vs. a private office?

With our private office option the room and desk(s) are dedicated just to you; with the dedicated desk in a shared workspace option the room is shared but the desk is dedicated only to you. 


What is the cost for a dedicated desk in a shared workspace?

Dedicated desks start at $250/month. *available at select locations


What amenities are included with a dedicated desk?

Enjoy 24/7 building access, lockable storage just for you, fast & secure internet, complimentary coffee, tea & water for you and your guests, access to over 60+ meeting spaces, our on-site gym, community café and member networking events.


What additional monthly charges might I incur (like conference room or printer usage)?

Virtual Membership


What services are included with a virtual membership?

All 8 Metro Offices locations are pleased to offer virtual office services, including mailing address(es), mail collection, mail forwarding, mail scanning, call answering, and call forwarding.  Metro Offices also provides package delivery via FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, and courier services.


What virtual services can support my home-based, remote and mobile workforce?

Metro Offices can provide you and your remote team with access to support facilities and a professional environment to meet with clients and colleagues. Our technology services including VoIP, unified communications, video conferencing, data center, and cloud computing will provide support while at home or on the road.


Which Metro Offices locations can you access with a Virtual Membership? 

Metro Offices has a total of 8 offices situated in different areas. These locations include Dupont Circle, Farragut/Midtown, and Metro Center in Washington, DC. In Maryland, there is the Chevy Chase office, and in Virginia, there are offices in Fairfax, Herndon/Dulles, Reston, and The Boro Tysons/Mclean.


Is it possible to utilize more than one Metro Offices location?

Yes, Metro Offices members are welcome to book day offices, meeting and training spaces at any of our 8 offices in Washington, DC, Virginia or Maryland.  Sign up for your choice of 3 business addresses in DC, MD & VA with Metro Offices “DMV” package – (choose from Metro Offices 8 locations)!


What are your hours of operation for virtual members?

Metro Offices Virtual Members are welcome from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday.  Metro Offices follows the Federal Holiday Closure schedule.


Is there access available to Metro Offices facilities after business hours or on weekends?

Metro Offices is open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday.  Metro Offices Virtual Members may arrange for after-hours access on an as-needed basis through our center managers. Metro Offices Private Office and Dedicated Desk Members enjoy 24/7 building access. 


How can a virtual membership reduce my travel time and expenses?

Our office centers offer virtual meeting solutions through video, audio, and web conferencing. Our technology enables virtual meetings without the need for travel expenses, saving you time and costs associated with plane tickets, meals or hotels. 

Mail Services


Can I receive mail at more than one location?

Yes!  Sign up for your choice of 3 business addresses in DC, MD & VA with Metro Offices “DMV” package. You have a choice of 8 prestigious addresses across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia to choose from. 


Is mail kept securely?

Yes.  We have designated mail slots for each of our clients.  Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.


Can I pick my mail up 24/7?

Our virtual clients are welcome to pick mail up from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Our clients with private offices are welcome to check their mail anytime. 


Can I call-in to check mail?

Yes, Metro Offices will have someone available to answer your call from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.


Do I have options if I can’t pick up my mail in-person? 

Metro Offices offers weekly, bi-weekly, or customized mail forwarding & scanning.  You are also welcome to call your designated center for mail checks from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday.


How often can my mail be forwarded?

Metro Offices offers weekly, bi-weekly, or customized mail forwarding.



Is international mail forwarding available?

Yes, typically, international clients schedule weekly mail forwarding, however, last-minute mail requests and next-day deliveries can be arranged with our team.


Is there a specific unit number for my mailing address?

You will not have a unit number.  Instead, all mail correspondence sent should be addressed with your Company name and our full address with the appropriate floor/suite number.


Does Metro Offices work with the major mail carriers to schedule and receive deliveries?

Yes, Metro Offices has accounts with FedEx, UPS and DHL.


Are courier services available?

Yes, we are happy to arrange courier services at any of our 8 locations for a small service fee.


Where do I park if I come to check my mail?

All of our office locations in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia have convenient parking options. Covered parking with direct access is available at all locations, while street parking is available at our DC and VA locations. 


Phone Services


Do you offer live receptionists or virtual receptionists?

We believe interacting with our clients and your clients on a daily basis makes a difference, which is why Metro Offices provides live receptionists that are part of an award-winning team with experience supporting businesses for over 34 years!  


Do you outsource your phone answering service?

It’s important to us to interact directly with our clients so we do not outsource our phone answering services. Our in-house Metro Offices team is located directly in the DMV at all of our locations.


Do you offer call forwarding?

Yes, we also provide personalized call answering and screening.


Can I have my calls forwarded to my cell phone?

Yes,  we also provide personalized call answering and screening.


What hours do you answer the phones?

Metro Offices team operates from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  Calls received after hours will go directly to voicemail.  Voicemail to email notifications can be programmed so you never miss a call!


Can I have phones ring after hours to my cell phone?

Yes, absolutely. 


Can I get my voicemail emailed to me?

Yes, voicemail to email notifications can be programmed so you never miss a call!


Can I use my own phone number?

Yes, we can either point or port your number to the local number that Metro Offices allocates to you.


Will you provide me with a local phone number?

Yes, our phone packages, the “Classic” and “Pro” both come with a local dedicated phone number, and with professional, personalized, and local call answering & forwarding.


How many phone numbers can I have?

Unlimited, each local line is $75 per month and an additional $25 more per month per line for our professional call answering service.  There is a one time $100 install fee per line.


Are calls unlimited or billed by the minute?

Our calls are unlimited!


Can I port my own number to/from Metro Offices?

Yes. 

Meeting and Training Rooms


What is included in a meeting room booking?

Metro Offices Meeting Rooms are equipped with free, fast and secure WIFI, Polycom Speaker Conference Phones, flat-screen plug and play HDMI/Clickshare/Chromecast/Apple compatible, & portable whiteboard – enjoy water, tea, and delicious coffee, on us! All meeting room reservations may arrange for additional beverage services, catering, and  additional services with our center teams. 


How many people can the Meeting Rooms accommodate?

Metro Offices Meeting Rooms accommodate groups ranging from 3 to 60 people.  Large lecture-style rooms that accommodate groups of up to 80 may be reserved at our Herndon/Dulles location.


Can I use more than one Metro Offices location for meetings?

Yes, Metro Offices members are welcome to book day offices, meeting and training spaces at any of our 8 offices in Washington, DC, Virginia or Maryland.  Sign up now and receive 50% OFF of all pre-purchased meeting room hours!


Can I rent a conference room by the hour?

Yes, absolutely.  Metro Offices also offers discounted rates for pre-purchased meeting room hours. We also offer monthly meeting and training room packages.

Are your tables modular?

Yes, Metro Offices Training Rooms are equipped with modular tables giving you the ability to create a space to make your training/meeting a success.


What are your business hours?

Metro Offices is open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday.  Metro Offices follows the Federal Holiday Closure schedule.


Are your meeting rooms available after hours?

Yes, after hours reservation of Metro Offices Meeting Rooms, Training Rooms and Collaboration spaces can be scheduled through our center managers.


Do you offer food and beverage services?

Enjoy water, tea, and delicious coffee, on us!  Additional beverage services can be made through our center teams.


Can I bring my own catering? 

Yes, absolutely.


Can you order catering for my meeting?

Yes!  All meeting room, training room, and collaboration space reservations may arrange for catering and any additional services with our center teams. 


Can we conference call?

Yes, all of Metro Offices meeting, training and collaboration spaces come with Polycom Speaker Conference Phones to support conference calls and meetings.


Do you have video conferencing?

Metro Offices does not provide video conferencing in our meeting room, however, our flat screen tv’s support plug and play screen share through HDMI/Clickshare/Chromecast/Apple adapters.


Do your meeting rooms have white boards?

Yes!  Metro Offices Meeting Rooms are equipped with mounted and portable whiteboards.


Do your rooms come with secure WiFi?

Yes, enjoy free, fast and secure WIFI in all of Metro Offices Meeting Rooms, Training Rooms, and Collaboration Spaces.


Do you have Chromecast?

Yes, Metro Offices Meeting Rooms, Training Rooms, and Collaboration Spaces flat screen TV’s support plug and play screen share through HDMI/Clickshare/Chromecast/Apple adapters.


Do you have HDMI cables available?

Yes, Metro Offices Meeting Rooms, Training Rooms, and Collaboration Spaces are equipped with HDMI cables.


Do I need to bring my own AV equipment?

No, Metro Offices Meeting Rooms, Training Rooms, and Collaboration Space’s flat screen TV’s support plug and play screen share through HDMI/Clickshare/Chromecast/Apple adapters.


What’s the difference between a meeting room and a conference room?

We use these terms interchangeably 


Why should I book a conference room at Metro Offices rather than somewhere else? Will I save money?

Yes, on average Metro Offices’ meeting and training rooms are 30% less than hotels, and we have no mandatory catering fees. Our fully-equipped meeting rooms also provide a more private and professional work environment.

Do you offer notary services?

Yes, dedicated notaries are present at all 8 of our Metro Offices locations.


Where do I park?

All 8 Metro Offices locations in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia have direct access to covered parking.  Our DC locations also have street parking.


Is there free parking?

Metro Offices Virginia (Dulles/Herndon, Fairfax, and Reston) locations are pleased to offer free parking.  Our other locations offer daily and monthly parking for all members, visitors, and guests.


Is there covered parking or access to a parking garage?

Yes, All 8 of Metro Offices office locations in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia have direct access to covered parking.  


Will Metro Offices validate parking for my clients/visitors?

Yes, Metro Offices parking validations for guests will be reflected on your monthly invoice.


Is Zipcar nearby?

Yes, there are several Zipcar locations within walking distance to Metro Offices Washington DC locations (Dupont Circle, Farragut/Midtown, and One Metro Center).  Metro Offices Fairfax location is 15 minutes from a Zipcar location in Fairfax, VA.


Do you have bike storage or a bike locker?

Although we do not have on-site bike storage, we do have adequate areas to secure your bike during the day.


How close are you to the Hill / Capitol Hill?

Metro Offices three Offices located in Washington, DC (One Metro Center, Farragut/Midtown, and Dupont Circle) are about a 10-15 minute drive and 15-30 min metro ride to Capitol Hill.  


Are you a registered agent?

Currently, Metro Offices does not function as a registered agent in Virginia. However, our offices located in Washington, DC do function as registered agents. 


Can you help my company improve its corporate image?

Yes, our office centers are strategically located in Class A buildings, providing our clients with prestigious addresses in all of our DC, Maryland and Virginia locations. Our well-trained and highly motivated team presents a professional image to incoming callers, visitors and guests.
