Private Offices


What amenities are included with a private office option?

Your fully furnished private office workspace includes 24/7 access, professional mail service, community café & business lounge access, specialty coffee, tea & water for you and your guests.  Member to member networking events, access to our on-site gym, and online reservation system where you can view and reserve our 40+ meeting spaces by location, shared fax and printer, fast & secure high-speed internet.


How many seats do your private offices accommodate?

Between 1 and 20, we have dedicated and private team spaces that seat up to 100.


Do I have the flexibility to add and subtract people if my company grows or contracts?

Yes – the private office is capped at a certain number of people.  If that number has not been met, you are welcome to add an additional member for a $200/monthly fee.  If that number has been met, you are welcome to add an additional office or dedicated desk in our shared space.


How many members included in my membership?

Each additional member is $200/month.


Not everyone uses our office every day.  Can you help us cut real estate expenses?

Metro Offices will create a customized workspace for your company with multiple office space solutions to substantially reduce your real estate cost-per-person.


What’s the commitment?

We offer flexible monthly solutions, as well as 6-month, 12-month, and 24-month terms. 


How much is the deposit?

Your refundable security deposit is equal to your recurring standard monthly payment.


Are private offices fully furnished?

Metro Offices provides fully-furnished, turn-key offices so you can focus on your business!


What is the quality level of the furniture? Are there sitting or standing desks? Are workstations ergonomically designed to maximize productivity?

High end, name brand furniture, including top names Hon and Herman Miller.


How big is each desk—will our team feel cramped in a three-foot desk or spacious with desks that are 5 feet or longer?

We understand how important it is to have your own space – that’s why we’ve made sure our desks are a minimum of 2.5ft wide and 5.5ft long, so you can spread out and maintain appropriate social distance while working comfortably.


Can we bring our own furniture/furnish in our office?

Yes, of course, however this does not decrease your monthly rate. 


What happens if we need more furniture?  Is there a cost associated with additional furniture pieces? adding desks and/or chairs? Is there an additional furniture pieces fee for?

For a minimal monthly charge & are subject to availability.


Can we paint our office or install wallpaper?

Yes, you may paint your office or install removeable peel-and stick wallpaper.  Any costs associated with the installation or painting will be covered by the tenant.  Restoring office to original condition upon termination will also be tenant responsibility. 


Can we put a company decal or sign on our door in the suite?

Available at some locations for some offices, upon request.


How easy is it for a tenant to control the climate in their office?

Our center teams will gladly place a ticket and building engineers will adjust within 30 minutes.


How loud is the space during peak times?

Our quiet and professional work environment sets us apart from many workspace providers – while we love pets and children, we kindly ask our members to keep them home to maintain an environment free of distractions.


Can we use more than one location?

Yes, Metro Offices members are welcome to book day offices, meeting and training spaces at any of our 9 offices in Washington, DC, Virginia or Maryland.  Sign up for your choice of 3 business addresses in DC, MD & VA with Metro Offices “DMV” package – (choose from Metro Offices 9 locations)!


Are meeting room hours included with my private office?

No, our plan head & save meeting room packages are 50% off our published rates, starting at just $20 an hour!


Are black and white and color prints included with my membership?

Metro Offices charges 10 cents per black and white prints, 49 cents for color prints, and 49 cents for scans. 


What additional charges could I incur (like conference room or printer usage) and how do those charges come about?

We offer a variety of administrative and support services.  Please ask us for our detailed services menu.


Is there free coffee on your floor?

Yes, enjoy water, tea, and delicious coffee, on us! 


Do you have locks or HID readers outside all suites so people can’t roam into private areas?

No, we do not, although keycard access is required to access all suites outside of regular business hours. All private offices are lockable with individual door locks.  Some centers require keycard access 24/7 and at the perimeter of the building.  Additionally, our locations are monitored by on-site security, security systems, and surveillance cameras.


What types of businesses do Metro Offices tenants have?  What kind of work do they do?

Metro Offices provides services to over 1,000 companies from Fortune 500, to one-person businesses. Including but not limited to a variety of clients, such as law firms, wealth management firms, government contractors, start-ups and entrepreneurs, and doctors.


What measures does Metro Offices take to ensure my personal security? Are there security guards, security systems, or surveillance cameras in the suite?

Keycard access is required to access all suites outside of regular business hours. All private offices are lockable with individual door locks.  Some centers require keycard access 24/7 and at the perimeter of the building.  Additionally, our locations are monitored by on-site security, security systems, and surveillance cameras.


Can I rent an office for the day?

We offer daily office rentals which include a private office with telephone lines, high-speed internet connectivity, and access to all other on-site support services.

Do you have dedicated workspaces and desks?

Yes, Metro Offices dedicated desks are exclusively for you and your team, in one of our open and spacious workspaces so you can get to work at a safe distance.


How much does a dedicated desk cost?

Dedicated desks start at $150/month.


What amenities are included with a dedicated desk?

Enjoy 24/7 building access, lockable storage just for you, fast & secure internet, complimentary coffee, tea & water for you and your guests, access to over 60+ meeting spaces, our on-site gym, community café and member networking events.


Are black and white and color prints included with my membership?

Virtual Offices


What are your virtual services?

All 9 of Metro Offices locations are pleased to offer virtual office services, including mailing address(es), mail collection, mail forwarding, call answering, and call forwarding.  Metro Offices also provides package delivery via FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, and courier services. 


Can you help us support our home-based, remote and mobile workforce?

Metro Offices can provide your remote team with access to support facilities and a professional environment to meet with clients and colleagues. Our technology services – including VoIP, unified communications, video conferencing, data center, and cloud computing – will support them at home or on the road.


Where are your virtual offices located?

Metro Offices 9 offices are located in:  Washington, DC (Dupont Circle, Farragut/Midtown & Metro Center), Maryland (Chevy Chase), and Virginia (Arlington/Ballston, Fairfax, Herndon/Dulles, Reston, and The Boro Tysons / Mclean).


Can we use more than one location?

Yes, Metro Offices members are welcome to book day offices, meeting and training spaces at any of our 9 offices in Washington, DC, Virginia or Maryland.  Sign up for your choice of 3 business addresses in DC, MD & VA with Metro Offices “DMV” package – (choose from Metro Offices 9 locations)!


What are your hours of operation for virtual members?

Metro Offices Virtual Members are welcome from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday.  Metro Offices follows the Federal Holiday Closure schedule.


Can the building be accessed after hours? Are you open on the weekends?

Metro Offices is open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday.  Metro Offices Virtual Members may arrange for after-hours access on an as-needed basis through our center managers. Metro Offices Private Office and Dedicated Desk Members enjoy 24/7 building access. 


Can you help us reduce travel time and expenses?

Our office centers offer video, audio, and web conferencing solutions which allow you to save time by meeting with your global clients virtually, without incurring costs for plane tickets, meals, and hotels.

Mail Services


Can we use more than one location to receive mail?

Yes!  Sign up for your choice of 3 business addresses in DC, MD & VA with Metro Offices “DMV” package – (choose from Metro Offices 9 locations).


What address do I use for my mail?

You have a choice of 9 prestigious addresses across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia  


Is mail secure?

Yes.  We have designated mail slots for each of our clients.  Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.


Can I pick up mail 24/7?

Our virtual clients are welcome to pick mail up from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday.


Can I call in to check mail?

Yes, of course.


What if I can’t pick up my mail? What are my options? Do you do mail forwarding?

Metro Offices offers weekly, bi-weekly, or customized mail forwarding.  You are also welcome to call your designated center for mail checks from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday.


How often do you forward my mail?

Metro Offices offers weekly, bi-weekly, or customized mail forwarding.


Do you offer international mail forwarding?

Absolutely!  Typically, international clients schedule weekly mail forwarding, however, last-minute mail requests and next-day deliveries can be arranged with our team.


Is there a unit number for my mail?

No.  We ask that any mail correspondence sent be addressed with your Company name and our full address with the appropriate floor/suite number.


Do you receive and schedule deliveries?

Yes, Metro Offices has accounts with FedEx, UPS and DHL.


Do you offer courier services?

Yes, we are happy to arrange courier services at any of our 9 locations for a small service fee.


Where do I park if I come to check my mail?

All 9 of our office locations in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia have direct access to covered parking.  Our DC locations also have street parking.


Phone Services


Do you offer live receptionists or virtual receptionists?

Metro Offices live receptionists are a part of an award-winning team supporting businesses for over 31 years!  Metro Offices team is located directly in the DMV.  We believe interacting with our clients on a daily basis makes a difference.


Do you outsource your phone answering service?

No.  Metro Offices team is located directly in the DMV.  We believe interacting with our clients on a daily basis makes a difference.


Do you offer call forwarding?

Yes of course.  We also provide personalized call answering and screening.


Can I have my calls forwarded to my cell phone?

Yes of course.  We also provide personalized call answering and screening.


What hours do you answer the phones?

Metro Offices team operates from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  Calls received after hours will go directly to voicemail.  Voicemail to email notifications can be programmed so you never miss a call!


Can I have phones ring after hours to my cellphone?

Absolutely. 


Can I get my voicemail emailed to me?

Yes, voicemail to email notifications can be programmed so you never miss a call!


Can I use my own phone number?

Yes, we can either point or port your number to the local number that Metro Offices allocates to you.


Will you provide me with a local phone number?

Yes!  Our phone packages, the “Classic” and “Pro” both come with a local dedicated phone number, with professional, personalized, and local call answering & forwarding.


How many phone numbers can I have?

Unlimited, each local line is $75 per month and an additional $25 more per month per line for our professional call answering service.  There is a one time $100 install fee per line.


Are calls unlimited or are you billed by the minute?

Our calls are unlimited!


Can I take my phone number with me if I leave?

Generally, no, but exceptions can be made.

Meeting Rooms


What do your meeting rooms come with?

Metro Offices meeting rooms are equipped with free fast and secure WIFI, Polycom Speaker Conference Phones, flat-screen plug and play HDMI/Clickshare/Chromecast/Apple compatible, portable whiteboard – enjoy water, tea, and delicious coffee, on us! All meeting room reservations may arrange for additional beverage services, catering, and any additional services with our center teams. 


How many people can your meeting rooms accommodate?

Metro Offices Meeting Rooms accommodate groups of 3-60 people.  Large lecture-style rooms to accommodate groups of 80 may be reserved at our Herndon/Dulles location.


Can I use more than one Metro Offices location for meetings?

Yes, Metro Offices members are welcome to book day offices, meeting and training spaces at any of our 9 offices in Washington, DC, Virginia or Maryland.  Sign up now and receive 50% OFF of all pre-purchased meeting room hours here!


Can I rent by the hour?

Yes, absolutely.  Metro Offices also offers discounted rates for pre-purchased meeting room hours – save here!  We also offer monthly meeting and training room packages.


Are your tables modular?

Yes, Metro Offices Training Rooms are equipped with modular tables giving you the ability to create a space to make your training/meeting a success.


What comes with the Training Room?

Metro Offices training rooms are equipped with free fast and secure WIFI, modular tables which allow you to configure the space to meet the needs of your meeting, Polycom Speaker Conference Phones, flat-screen plug and play HDMI/Clickshare/Chromecast/Apple compatible, portable whiteboard – enjoy water, tea, and delicious coffee, on us! All training room reservations may arrange for additional beverage services, catering, and any additional services with our center teams. 


How many people do your Training Rooms accommodate?

Metro Offices Training Rooms accommodate groups of 14-60 people.  Large lecture-style rooms to accommodate groups of 80 may be reserved at our Herndon/Dulles location.


What are your hours?

Metro Offices is open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday.  Metro Offices follows the Federal Holiday Closure schedule.


Are your meeting rooms available after hours?

Yes, after hours reservation of Metro Offices Meeting Rooms, Training Rooms and Collaboration spaces can be scheduled through our center managers.

Do you have video conferencing?

Metro Offices does not provide video conferencing in our meeting room, however, our flat screen tv’s support plug and play screen share though HDMI/Clickshare/Chromecast/Apple adapters.


Do your meeting rooms have white boards?

Yes!  Metro Offices Meeting Rooms are equipped with mounted and portable whiteboards.


Do your rooms come with secure WiFi?

Yes, enjoy free fast and secure WIFI in all of Metro Offices Meeting Rooms, Training Rooms, and Collaboration Spaces.


Do you have Chromecast?

Do you have any meeting rooms near Pennsylvania Avenue?

Yes, Metro Offices Farragut/Midtown location (1725 I Street NW, Washington DC 20006 Suite 300) is less than half a mile from Pennsylvania Avenue – just a 5 to 10-minute walk! Get directions here


What’s the difference between a meeting room and a conference room?

Nothing – We have over 60 meeting spaces in our network that can accommodate up to 75 people.


Can you help our company save money on meeting and training rooms?

Yes, on average Metro Offices’ meeting and training rooms are 30% less than hotels, and we have no mandatory catering fees. Our fully-equipped meeting rooms also provide a more comfortable and professional work environment.

Do you offer notary services?

Yes, dedicated notaries are present at all 9 of our Metro Offices locations.


How much are notary services?

Notary services are $50/hr.


Where do I park?

All 9 of Metro Offices office locations in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia have direct access to covered parking.  Our DC locations also have street parking.


Is there free parking?

Metro Offices Dulles/Herndon, Fairfax, and Reston Virginia locations are pleased to offer free parking.  Our other locations offer daily and monthly parking for all members, visitors, and guests.


Is there covered parking or access to a parking garage?

Yes, All 9 of Metro Offices office locations in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia have direct access to covered parking.  Our DC locations also have street parking.


Do you validate parking?

Yes, Metro Offices parking validations will be reflected on monthly invoices.


Is Zipcar nearby?

Yes, there are several Zipcar locations within walking distance to Metro Offices Washington DC locations (Dupont Circle, Farragut/Midtown, and One Metro Center).  Metro Offices Fairfax location is 15 minutes from a Zipcar location In Fairfax, VA.


Do you have bike storage or a bike locker?

Although we do not have on-site bike storage, we do have adequate areas to secure your bike during the day.


How close are you to the Hill / Capitol Hill?

Metro Offices three Virtual Offices located in Washington, DC (One Metro Center, Farragut/Midtown, and Dupont Circle) are about a 10-15 minute drive and 15-30 min metro ride to Capitol Hill.  Metro Offices Arlington / Ballston office is a 15-20 minute drive to Capitol Hill and typically takes 35-40 minutes by Metro.


Do you have a backup server if the WiFi goes down?

Yes.


Are you a registered agent?

Currently Metro Offices does not function as a registered agent.


Can you help our company improve its corporate image?
